Edinburgh Castle in white
I like how the snow changes the city landscape, it covers all the “noise” being colours and possible colourful garbage that might interrupt. The snow makes the subject simple, clean and soft I think. The image below is taken from Princes Street Gardens with the majestic Edinburgh Castle in the background.
When all these beautiful old buildings are dressed in white it is like in a fairytale.
The next image is a winter sunset in Inverlieth Park which has both the warm colours of the sunset and the cold mist in one.

I am already looking forward to shoot snow images of the city this year (I hope), but there is no snow yet…
Cheers,
Maria – Louisa
